Russia come up 6th in FIFA rankings

The Russian National team have leapt over England, Croatia and Argentina and reached the 6th place in the updated FIFA list of national standings!

Brazil have overtaken Spain to return to the top of the FIFA world rankings after a two-year absence, following their Confederations Cup final victory over the United States in South Africa, thus leaving Euro Champions Spain and World Champions Italy in their wake.

Germany, our rival in the World Cup-2010 qualifier, have gone a bit down.

The top 10 in FIFA’s world rankings released Wednesday (previous month’s ranking in parentheses):
1 (5). Brazil — 1672 points
2 (1). Spain — 1590
